Good News!
St. Martin's Press
I would just like to make the announcement that I have been hired at St. Martin’s Press as an editorial assistant! I can’t divulge the details quite yet, but once the dust settles, I will be part of a new enterprise with regards to finding books for post-adolescents and young “adults” (like myself). This position is somewhat new in that it was created for this particular endeavour, so everything is a little fluid at the moment.
However, rest assured that yours truly will be blogging about it once I am able. I am an editorial assistant now, you guys. That’s just, well, awesome.

That is AWESOME. For you, and for books, because there’s definitely that transitional or in-between age that doesn’t fit YA but doesn’t quite fit in “adult” literature either — it’s huge and untapped and full of potential. Glad to see someone’s taking interest in it!
