I’ve always known Teddy Bear was an Evil Genius™ but until recently I didn’t fully understand what a scheming mind he possessed. I used to say that God had Bear’s sense of humour; they both like to arrange matters so that maximum hilarity can be extracted from the ensuing situation (for God or Bear, at least). Bear likes to achieve this by setting up people romantically or sexually. His usual response to almost anything is, “You should date/sleep with him/her/it/that shoe.” And when he runs out of his own friends to send on blind dates, he turns to mine. Sometimes I think that when he says he’s playing poker, he’s actually secretly shut himself up in his room with a pen and paper, drawing a list of my friends and a list of his friends, and then connecting the two at random.
